The reason I visited the shop was to gather more information and an opinion on the avaiIable monitors at PB Tech and how they compare.
I experienced really great service from an experienced and friendly sales consultant who was knowledgeable, understanding and patient.

As an architect I required a higher than normal resolution monitor which I can use for drafting and rendering purposes.
I like the fact that this model can move up and down and be tilted, to be set at a comfortable height, especially with hours spent in front of the screen.

I am disappointed with the quality of the image though and expected a more photo realistic picture, but it has a faded kind of image.
I have played around with the settings but could not find what I was after.

I recommend to bring your own laptop with when purchasing a monitor and test it at the shop on a specific monitor if that is possible.
PB Tech did not have display units on the floor at the Newmarket branch though.

I bought this for my first PC build and am loving it. Good size, high resolution and refresh rate, different display options for gaming etc. Couple of odd screen blackouts but could be user error/PC problem - unsure but haven't had any issues other than that. Works exactly as expected, smooth and fast along with the default setting profiles providing reasonable colour accuracy.
The only thing I would mention is that the settings menu might take a little while to get used to and requires you moving the menu position manually to line up with the button positions on the monitor. The screen is great and it works really well. The only issue I’ve had was finding that the appears not to be compatible with the i7 1355u laptop that I just bought. Will not set above 1080p on every other laptop I use, at home and work got great 1440p straight away. The screen is great and it works really well.
