Samsung Galaxy A17 4G (2025) Dual SIM Smartphone 4GB+128GB - Black

Had to upgrade our retired parents phones due to the 3G to 4G fiasco. We gravitated to Samsung for their in built scam prevention as one of them had recently been targeted. It works as advertised, dozens of calls in the first 2 weeks had been either auto rejected or clearly labeled as scam. Also the phone prevents them from visiting dodgy sites or links. Begrudgingly had to upgrade due to the 3G shenanigans. Previous phone was fine albeit maybe a bit sluggish. This phone was just what I needed. It does all the basics and doesnt cost too much. Upgraded my daughter from one Samsung phone to this one. Easy to use the Samsung Smart Switch app and just let it move all the setting and files over. Cameras are solid and spec's a good for the price (I did buy on black friday sale).
Miss 13 is very happy with the battery life, and vastly better selfie camera (Samsung know their audience!) and I'm impressed with the many years of updates and support. For the price tag this phone is well worth the money.
A solid budget friendly option & especially with the added protection for long term usage with the years of updates guaranteed along with it.
Camera is great overall, when using it at its highest capacity you are restricted to not being able to zoom, this would be its only bad config in my opinion.
Battery life is great & charges very fast when used on fast charging.
Overall great, smooth experience while using said phone! For the price tag this phone is well worth the money.

I saw PB had another ripper sale, and purchased what my budget could afford and bought a Galaxy A17 from PB Tech. It has been faultless so far, easy to navigate, great camera (my main priority) and great battery life - compared to the A07 anyway!

I was looking for a cheap beater for GPS on my motorbikes and this one ticked all the boxes. After getting it all set up and everything downloaded, It is really smooth and snappy. The display is bright and crystal clear. The face unlock and fingerprint unlock work fast and absolutely perfect. I can’t comment on what it would be like for heavy use but to be completely honest it feels like the display is more vibrant than my iPhone 17 pro Max. I also had the S24 ultra and aside from lacking some of the features I don’t really see the display being much different to that. I wanted to get a replacement phone and didn't have enough fund to pay for a S series. This does everything I need for day to day. Sure it might be limited but for what I need daily this does the trick.
