Razer Goliathus Chroma Extended RGB Soft Gaming Mouse Mat

It is by far the best mousemat Razer has made so far, so much so that we have two now. It has excellent RGB lighting using their Synapse software and a great control texture for your gaming mouse.

In terms of fading or aging, our 12 month old mat has barely started to show signs of fading and spends every day in a sunny window uncovered - pretty impresive for a matte black finish (pun not intended). It is easy to clean with any damp cloth.

If you do decide to buy this I reccomend leaving it laid out flat on a desk with moderately heavy books on top to flatten it out for twelve hours before using (as it comes rolled up in the box and might look warped when taken out). If yours does, its not broken! Just give it time to relax and get used to your gaming setup.

The goliath chroma is okay the texture is very fine and nice but that's about it. the fibre optic cable on the side are brighter on the corners and since its a semi-hard wire it can cause bumps or waves on the edges of the mousepad. the mouse pad also likes to move a lot for a large mouse pad. if your looking for a led mouse pad this is probably the best but for the price its aight. While the lighting is only attached by a single thread it is well done.

I know there are similar options with lower price tag, but this works quite well with my set up. The RGB is just icing but having to customize and organize your lighting (provided you have other Razer RGB products) is a welcome plus. You know what they say, RGB adds performance. Right? Works as advertised, it's a quality soft mouse mat, with the edge containing lights that are fully customizable. It really kicks your station up a notch visually, especially if you already have other Razer peripherals, due to it's syncing capabilities. It is much more rigid however than traditional mouse mats, and requires special care if transport it is required (can't be tightly rolled).
