Ubiquity could do with some better mechanical engineers
I had bought this to compliment quite a tidy rack install that I was doing, this fitted the Cloud Key into it nicely. The problem is not with this, it is the Cloud Key design and how the electrical contacts mesh with this rack accessory. It uses slide contacts that rely on the alignment being precise between the two devices, the rack accessory is ok, it is the Cloud Key designers that were having a crap day, the contacts on that are held in place with adhesive and are easily moved out of alignment. Expected better from Ubiquity but after using a few of their products I can see very little installer feedback is received and implemented.
