Bought this for my wife to replace an ageing Samsung machine. Apart from all the bother to get past Microsoft's efforts to lock us into their ecosystem - which is not down to the computer, but Win11 - it was a breeze to set up and get running. Since she's not using it as a fps games machine, it's lightening fast at the jobs it's given. The 15" screen is definitely an advantage when editing photos. Keyboard is good, and a cordless mouse has replaced the touchpad which is not so easy for us eldery folk to use. Very happy with the purchase. This is by no means a top of the line laptop, but it's excellent for the price. I needed a new laptop chiefly for office work, and my chief concern was speed, which it has in spades. Battery life is not bad for the price - overall, I'm very happy with my purchase so far. 3 weeks of good service and counting. Good Speed thought it would lag but pretty good.
Only one downfall Windows products does not automatically have MS products loaded (word,excel etc)
It should include MS products for free specially for the price of the laptops for students.
Buying a separate MS product is more of a money-making racket. Purchased this laptop to replace my old work laptop and it is an excellent device.
