Purchased on 24 September 2024. It has broken already - January 2025. I have used it with a lot of care.
This is the second time I have bought this product and it has broken in the same way - the metal end of the cable detaches from the plastic. But at least the last one lasted for a year.

I use this car charger for my Asus ROG gaming laptop. Works great and will keep the battery topped up during work and even during lightweight games (though for high-end games it'll drain the battery while plugged in, which is normal).
They do keep breaking though, I'm already on my third one, I have to change them about every year if I'm lucky. One just stopped working, the other one the usb-c part just detached itself while I'm really not doing anything crazy with it. Wished there was a better quality product. While the power supply and Cig plug work fine, I find the issue is with the USB end, broken wires on 1st one and one the 2nd one the usb plug separated from the rest of the cord. To often have I found myself out and about and short on power for my laptop. This charger allows me to top my laptop in-between meetings, ensuring that it keeps going without having to hunt for the power point at my clients sites.

I was a bit concerned reading some other reviews regarding build quality and breaking. But as I already have the multi-plug version for my old HP Omen, I decided to risk this usb-c model for my new Asus Rog G16. So far it’s charged up the new laptop fine - though obviously not as fast as the 280W mains charger it came with. But at least it keeps it going while I'm away in the caravan. Build quality seems fine - so far. I’m mainly charging the laptop up with it switched off, during the day while caravan is on solar, then using the laptop on battery in the evenings for light work which doesn’t drain the battery excessively.
