I've found this router to be more than sufficient for all my needs. Streaming HD video on multiple devices at the same time, over wifi is no problem for this router. Setup is so simple I'm confident that even boomers could get it going with no trouble. 5 star I've found this router to be more than sufficient for all my needs. Purchased this unit Nov 2023. Fairly easy to install using the ASUS app. Running well and providing good coverage throughout the house, on multiple devices.

Bought this during the Labour Day sale. Has dramatically improved the wifi coverage in my flat with concrete walls.

Set-up is easy in the ASUS router app. Automatic set-up already has each ISP's settings built and takes about 5 minutes. App also provides an easy way to update firmware, settings etc.

Enjoying the benefit of my new router. No more stuttering and freezing when streaming. Only thing I would suggest is slightly clearer and more comprehensive instructions for set up. Usually not a high bar, I know but it is easy to set up and configure and the speeds I am getting are better.

Make sure you have the instructions available which can be found on the item page of the router and it is a breeze.

Been using this router for over a month now as a mesh Wi-Fi network with another ASUS router (ASUS RT-AX53U) and everything works perfectly, no issues with connectivity or slow speeds whatsoever. Setting it up was fairly straightforward (as long as you're following instructions, there are lots of guides on the internet as well for setting the router up), and ASUS has really outdone themselves in packing all these features to a small router like this. My only issue is that some of my devices don't like the new Wi-Fi 6 standard, but that's fine since you can easily change this in the settings so the router can use Wi-Fi 5 standards. Great product, my previous router just kept dripping connection and when i replaced it with this Asus ax 3000 the issue was resolved. Strong connection, olenty of Lan ports, easy set up through broadband provider.
