So if you are like me and have plugged in the box and get the infernal red light meaning no net. And have no clue why? This has a simple fix.
Each internet provider has a specific set up needed to get net flowing. Follow the set up through the app but select DHCP automatic IP. This will lead to a drop down box with a list of internet providers. Select your internet provider 2degrees, slingshot etc. This will automatically put all the setting right.

The router may be a little bit to the expensive side but it performs extremely well and greatly fits for my use case.

Exactly what was required, its boosted our wifi availability around the house quite considerably. This one works way better than the el cheapo
you generally get from your service provider for FREE, paying for this just makes sense, great value for money!

Was having troubles connecting to my internet from a distance with so many devices connected, this allowed me to have good connection and still have everything connected. The second one I have bought - it does the job.

This router was recommended by a friend, and am very happy.
The app make the router easy to setup.

I have set up a few ASUS Routers now and I've been pretty happy with them. A good performance and they don't usually fail after 18 months like one or two of the cheaper ones offered by service providers.
However; I did find setting these ones up using the ASUS App was not always straight forward. Ideally you need the App to offer help with the chosen service provider e.g. Spark or whoever. If that option appears everything suddenly works more easily. If you set up all of the options long-hand, you might find it a slightly trial-and-error process.
