When connected via the 5Ghz band, it has a lot of stuttering and it is very inconsistent. This isn't seen on any other devices connected via the 5Ghz band and on the 2.4Ghz band. Works great with a 5G network, have had no so far issues other than just needing to install a driver setup on the official site which was pretty easy and painless. Good product, would recommend. We've gone from 180 mbs (2.4ghz) to 300 mbs (5ghz) for our download speeds :) Only fiddly thing we needed to do was go into device manager and change the wireless mode from " auto " to 802.11a/n/ac for it to connect to our 5ghz router as on auto it would only connect to the 2.4ghz network. Installing this wireless adapter was painless on Windows 11, and noticeable increased the speed of the connection on the computer.

Two days to get the driver installed on Windows Server 2022 and Windows Server 2019 (new builds). You need to install the Wireless networking component for windows server first or the driver wont install. Speed is maxed out at 300 - 360 Mbps only 10 meters from the access point (802.11ac through walls of timber construction). Good enough for browsing. Not fast enough to stream 30 Mbps video from my server without buffering. Ended up running a 1 Gbps network cable. Guess its ok for the price, pretty average. I was having issues with this card dropping connection, despite a good signal. My router was set to auto detect the best channel (which it had, channel 13 for me). I set the router to ONLY use channel 13. No more connection issues.
Seems this card does not like using channel switching, at least with my router. I only use 5GHz, 2.4GHz is turned off.

bought this as i was very much in need of an upgrade from my old usb wifi adapter that i had previously and damn is this thing fast. not only does it work amazingly well for streaming but also works amazing in my house which has horrendous issues with range and connectivity. bought this as i was very much in need of an upgrade from my old usb wifi adapter that i had previously and damn is this thing fast. not only does it work amazingly well for streaming but also works amazing in my house which has horrendous issues with range and connectivity.
