TP-Link Deco M5 (AC1300) Dual-Band WiFi 5 Whole Home Mesh System - 2 Pack

We already had a Deco M5 mesh network and I'm using a 9 year old laptop and its wi-fi card was only giving me about 1/4 of the speed of our network connected to fibre. So I added extra M5 to our network adjacent to where I use my laptop and was then able to conveniently plug the laptop in with an ethernet cable. This immediately gave me full speed of our fibre connection, so I am very pleased I bought the extra M5 to connect my laptop in at the convenient place I sit. I had an older Deco product which only allowed 1000 mbps in via ethernet cable, and I needed more speed! My research found me this product, which was easy to add to our existing network, was a reasonable price, and is working well. I bought a pair of these TP-Link Deco M5 units a few years ago, then recently bought a new pair to extend our WiFi further. We have a Bach, on which the sleepout had terrible signal from our Unifi wireless access point setup, now with these they have great signal and speed between the two units. No more buffering. Was hesitant about the AC and not AX. These were the perfect answer, had a garage that had cat6 back to the main house plugged one in inside and the garage one hard wired back to the main unit in the house created a mesh that easily covers the 240m2 claimed. Needed a new internet box fast, have dead spot in the house, this was cheaper than buying a decent router and an extender and easier to set up since it's a contained system.

Super fast and easy set-up, didn't even work up a sweat like I usually do, app makes a big difference.

Needed better coverage and this worked a treat. Easy set up and incredible controls! Great product. We had what used to be a top level router, but it had begun to lack the ability to cover the multiple devices and size of our home. These M% Deco have completely changed things for us. We had no idea how slow our WiFi had actually gotten. Relatively simple setup after a quick chat with our Internet Supplier as to their incorrect setup info (no fault of TP-Link) Great product. I have used this product for about 3 years now and its awesome. Does the job well and easy to set up multiple units, the App is easy to use and has great features like the parental controls to help manage the online time for the kids.
