Ubiquiti UniFi Protet UP-AI-Port AI Appliance

I am running an HD and 2K ONVIF camera in unfi protect with full AI alerts works well. There is more features coming would recommend if you want to switch to protect but dont want to shell out for new cameras. License plate reading works with it as well. Excellent way to add AI features to older cameras - including non-Unifi cameras! I currently have 1 on my main 8MP Hikvision camera and it does exactly what it says. Will get at least 1 more for some of my other 4MP HiLook cameras.

Now that Unifi Protect supports 3rd party cameras it’s easy to migrate your security system to Unifi Protect without replacing all your cameras, and with AI Port, without sacrificing advanced AI detection features too.

Great product. Just be aware you can’t add as many non-Unifi cameras per AI Port device: it currently supports 1 3rd party camera at 4K or 2 at 1080. The AI Port respresents a significant upgrade in capability for existing Unifi camera installations. They add very useful features including face, vehicle, and licence plate recognition to non-smart cameras. On average, you'll be able to pair 3-5 existing non-smart Unifi cameras to an AI Port - the number varies depending upon resolution. I purchased two, and have 4 paired to one, and 3 paired to the other. They can be connected directly to, and powered by, the switch - they don't have to be directly connected to the camera.
