The licensing system Microsoft uses for its products is extremely confusing and maddening but you may not notice it unless you try registering multiple products under the one Microsoft account. The pricing for it is a lot better than it used to be - unless you need the Office version that includes Outlook which is still way overpriced. But , why would Mac users need to pay for Outlook when they have Mac Mail gratis?
