Tractive GPS Dog 6 Tracker - Subscription Required

There is a delay of about two minutes when our dog leaves the virtual fence to when we get a notification/alert. Do we need to change it to Live Everytime when our dog goes outside as this churns through the battery? It is also quite hard to get the virtual fence accurate distance from our house. While we are still getting used to using the app, I'm not sure if I would recommend it for our purpose of keeping our dog safe. We bought this 3 weeks ago and it it works very well, tracks out goat movements around the property, it even tells us how much she sleeps and the heat maps indicating where she spends most of the time are cool. The charge last a week or so, but we are able to charge it often as the goat come close to the house a lot. Light, easy to charge. Awesome device for keeping a tap on your furry family members. And the virtual fencing is awesome as well......as soon as they leave it you get alerted. And it tracks where they went if you take them for a walk. Shows you how many km they walked and how long the walk was.
