Purpose‑Built Cable Management System

The Cable Chain for X1E is a specialized cable management accessory designed to control and guide the routing of the toolhead cable harness and filament feeding tube on the X1E printer. During printing, the toolhead moves rapidly and repeatedly across the build area - and without a cable chain, the cables and tubing can bend unpredictably, snag or wear prematurely. This chain keeps cables moving reliably and predictably.

Confines Motion for Reliability and Safety

When installed, the cable chain confines the trajectory of connected cables and tubes to a horizontal plane. That means the components attached to the toolhead and frame move smoothly without twisting or sagging, which helps prevent abrasion, kinks, or stress on wires and pneumatic tubing as the toolhead races back and forth. This results in improved longevity for critical motion‑related parts.

Includes Installation Hardware

The kit doesn't just contain the cable chain itself - it also includes essential mounting and routing hardware such as the AP board cover, a cable bracket, PTFE rubber grommet, and a PTFE pneumatic connector with clip. These parts help integrate the cable chain into the X1E's existing cable paths cleanly and securely.

If you change your mind after making a purchase, or realise you have ordered the incorrect item, you can enjoy the peace of mind that we offer a 7 day exchange policy.

To exchange a product, goods must be sealed / unopened, with packaging in original condition, and accompanied by a valid receipt dated no more than 7 calendar days from when you request an exchange.

If there is not a suitable product that can be exchanged for your returned item you will be offered a credit on your account or gift card based on the value paid at the time of purchase.
