Easy to assemble into the (separately purchased) R-Pi case, complete with a heatsink. Plug it in and away you go. The only thing I changed was the temperature range that it comes on and switches off. Sure, you can spend many more of your hard earned dollars on some other super duper cases with fans but this little jobbie does what it says on the box. It's not quiet, but it's just not that noisy either. I ran a CPU test to get the temp up and it worked as expected. My only trivial annoyance with it is that the fan comes on and stays on after you've shutdown the Pi but still have power applied. For such a small fan it does a great job of cooling my Pi4 8gb. Fits perfectly with the standard Pi 4 case. Is a little loud at times (not and issue but can be a tad annoying at times). 25mm fan on a plastic molding, with a little heatsink too. The parts all fit nicely in the official pi4 case, snapping in snugly and the included wiring diagram is helpful too. What I missed before buying it is how loud and high-pitched the fan is. Shouldn't have been surprised, given it is 25mm and the only way that can move any air is to sing like a bird. Except this one craws like a raven. Would not buy again :(

Fan works fine using the overlay in config to turn fan on at specific temperature.

But it’s not quiet and I can hear the high pitch noise form the other room.

This one has the 3 wires, 2 for power and 1 for control. So many fans that come with cases

Definitely added a good level of cooling in my environment. Worth remembering that although connected to Pin #8 this is still GPIO14 (not 8 as I initially thought and didn't work).

Again not a problem, I initially used 60 as a test point and all worked as expected, I have raised this a bit as the fan was turning on too often, it's a trial and error thing until you find your own sweet spot, Definitely added a good level of cooling in my environment.
