Used this little pico device to act as a wireless Bluetooth receiver for my ps5 controller on my computer since the only way to connect a ps5 controller to a pc is via cable which is stupid. Raspberry Pi Pico 2 W is a great little microprocessor. Similar to an ESP32 or ESP8266 board in available functionality but using different chips.
I am programming it with micropython via Thonny IDE which seems easier than than Arduino IDE. There was not much of a learning curve to get the unit up and running and doing something useful. There is plenty of info and free tutorials on the web.
Currently it is reading heart beat signals and plotting them on a monitor. plus sending the data wirelessly to a Raspberry Pi 4 for analysis.

One thing to be aware of, it does not come with header pins so you may need to obtain those if you need to plug it in to a breadboard or something.

Great microcontroller board. Does a couple of things that some others don't but what sets these apart is the Raspberry Pi ecosystem including awesome documentation. Very, very, easy to get started with using the Thonny IDE and micropython but also easy to programme using the arduino IDE or dive right into C etc with lots of good quality support out there.
