I like my room to be pitch black when I sleep. Unfortunately this switch lights up which is super annoying I have to unplug everything else and shove that end under the bed to make my room dark. Gggrrr. Wish it mentioned that it lights up on the description-.- happened with the last multi plug i bought as well. Who wants a light in their room from a plug while they fall asleep. Ugh. Looks slick and has a good finish. The led light is blue on mine, bright but not supper annoying.
I'm using it to power to a standing desk and everything on in (lamp, monitor, laptop and the desk itself), is connected to a wall socket right behind and I'd say that the 1m cable is just the exact length from the socket to the max. used height of the desk on standing position.
