This is a great compact product that's much more powerful than my old Dream Router. I don't think anybody could buy this and be disappointed. For Unifi Protect the nvme ssd drive is much more responsive than the old DR's sd card. The unit is attractive enough to put pretty much anywhere, but I might end up getting a 4U 10 inch mini rack. If you want built in poe and 10g this seems like one of the best options available today, super easy set up the UniFi app is great.

The UniFi UCG-Fibre is a fantastic gateway, I could not be happier and it fits my needs. It took a few attempts to install correctly as this was my first time getting HyperFibre and also forgoing a router, so mistakes were made and lesson's learnt.

It's fast, the software interface for the UniFi Network is easy to use for someone who has patience, some tech ability, is willing to watch tutorials and before you know it you will be adopting UniFi devices, setting up your VPNs and becoming addicted very, very fast.
