Easy to use. Intuitive menus. I can't do a full test, but seems to read within a degree or two of what I'm expecting. Measurements have good repeatability. The 16:1 spot width sounds about right - shooting from 160cm away from a hot kettle, I start getting higher temps about 12cm to the left of it.
