Spacetalk Adventurer 2 Kids Smartwatch - Frost

Bought December 2024 for 10 year old Xmas gift. I did my research. On paper, the features seem great for monitoring and communicating with daughter, giving her more freedom and us peace of mind. I was aware of the $8 Spark monthly SIM free and $9 monthly Spacetalk subscription.

But setting this up with Spacetalk has been a nightmare. Their setup instructions on their website don't match AT ALL with the mobile app. I got myself set up as primary parent, but can't get wife to connect. I have 4 support request to Spacetalk, with screenshots, and they still can't tell me how to add a secondary parent. Also, the app wants to track the PARENTS location, with no way to decline. I'm giving Spacetalk 5 more days to resolve and then I'm returning the watch.

I have had so much issue with this watch, the app doesn't work as it should be, and you need to subscribe (keep paying) to use it's own functions. what a waste of time and money. i don't really trust my kid when going out so i bought him the spacetalk adventure 2 smartwatch now i can see his location and contact him as a parent it just gives me peace of mind

This is much better working than Spacetalk loop as I bought that twice as it was not working. It is perfect for my son to communicate with me and can-do video call as well. So glad we went with the Adventurer! No issues in regards to service when it comes to calling/texting - even when in very different locations. GPS/map is extremely accurate. Battery life could be slightly longer, but watches are on the charger overnight anyway. So glad we went with the Adventurer!
