My last purchase of this item became damaged easily when someone moveed my computer and slightly puled on the cord. I think the design is not good and it is vulnerable to being twisted or damaged easily. Hopefully I will not ahve to replace it a second time. Couldn't get it to work. The adaptor plus cable puts far too much weight on the adaptor fitting
at the source output, to the point where you wonder if they even tried it in the design stage.

Micro HDMI is a terrible standard - the connectors and sockets are tiny and break easily. I have broken two of these adapters in a year. The first one left its nose in the laptop, the second one just stopped working. I have now bought the StarTech 12 cm High Speed HDMI Adapter Cable and I'm hoping it is a bit more robust. It worked okay for a while then broke about after a couple of weeks, the last 3 days of its life: it worked but there was issues with image display then it died today. This adapter lasted 4 days before it broke. If you are planning on plugging it in and out often don't get this. Micro HDMI is a stupid design but this adapter is weak.
