I needed a WiFi dongle to download the WiFi drivers for a machine I was setting up (!). This did the job just fine. It wasn't technically demanding, but it worked, it's small, and it's inexpensive, and it has earned a place in my box of bits. Probably should have anticipated this, but it broke on the first day because it sticks out too much. Only suitable if not being moved around a lot (high risk of damage because not Nano size). Also not suitable for teenage boys! :)

since plugging this in the wifi has performed extremely well, with none if the usual buffering when streaming. no special setup was required, except disabling the old one and enabling this one. very good performance. since plugging this in the wifi has performed extremely well, with none if the usual buffering when streaming. no special setup was required, except disabling the old one and enabling this one. very good performance.

Bought a new ASUS NUC13 from PBTECH and trying to upgrade from windows 10 Retail to Windows 11 - it's free.
What a nightmare. Cannot get internet connectivity. No Wifi. No ethernet. No hot spotting. Upgrade stuck.
Windows 10 creation media doesn't work - no internet connectivity, same with Windows 11.
You could load a Linux live image and connect to the internet in 10minutes. But, that's not the point. With the NUC, no drivers found. Just why?? Not even basic connectivity?
