I've had two of these, both have failed after a couple of years.
They start playing up amd need to be unplugged and replaced in to get them going again. Over time this gets worse to the point where plugging in will give a quick flash of light and then it's dead again. I've had two of these, both have failed after a couple of years.

I'm an existing Yeelight user of their Xiaomi branded bedside Lamps and having had experience with that, thought I would invest in a couple of these smaller units for the kids bedrooms. Whilst the brightness is quite good for a small to medium sized room and the smart home integration a plus, the user experience in my opinion is sub-par in comparison. Costing only $20 more, I should have just gone for the larger Yeelight/Xiaomi Bedside Smart Light 2 which is much easier to control without the need of a smart phone or home automation system - the control buttons can adequately turn the lights on and off, increase or decrease brightness and even change colour schemes extremely easily, however I really struggled with this on the Yeelight Bedside Lamp D2 which is not user-friendly at all when needing to control it directly. Also, there appears to be operational bugs where the light sometimes does not respond and needs to be disconnected from power mains to reset. This is extremely inconvenient - especially when being used in kids bedrooms who don't have access to smart phones for control nor are expected to mess around with power cables.

This is great when it works, so many times I've had to unplug and plug in again for it to turn on. Annoying if you're in the dark and trying to figure it out. I found the lamp a great purchase.
We use it for our kids room and it is great that I can set it up feom my phone.
My kids find a bit difficult to set up the colours and intensity directly from the lamp that is why I gave a 4 and not a 5.

Super easy to program and setup with both Siri and the included app.
