It does what I want it to do, I’m having some trouble with keeping the hdmi cable plugged into my gpu but I don’t think it’s the cables fault, probably just the angle that it’s on. pretty expensive you can find cheap ones if you aren’t looking for a long term cable, this one will probs last a while. Only been using it for a couple of weeks but it seems like it will last.

Dceptive marketing to the layperson: I bought this cable hoping to connect my (admittedly old) laptop to my HDMI TV screen, however nowhere does it indicate that this isn't as simple as getting a cable with HDMI on one end and VGA on the other - analogue and digital are, I was unhappy to learn, two entirely different formats that no software is included to convert them. I therefore bought a very expensive cable that is about as much use as spaghetti. I couldn't say if it works for those who do have the technical know-how.
