Tried to use for 1440p 144hz monitor.
Worked ok for a couple of days, then started getting artifacting and the monitor cutting out every couple of minutes.

For years my Dell 4K monitor sometimes wouldn't turn on when I resumed my computer from standby, and the monitor would regularly blank when things happened nearby like a tumble drier being turned on. I thought it was a video card or monitor problem, but when I replaced this cable with a higher quality Startech cable the problems went away. This makes me think this cable is adequate for some circumstances but I would suggest going with a higher quality cable if you have problems or value quality.
