I only bought this a month ago and the TalkBack system has already broken it sounds like someone talking through a voice disguise machine and you can't even hear what they are saying just low grumbles. I'm quite annoyed to be honest. The picture quality is ok. Here my experience with it.
Second day of owning it, i have only discovered now that you cannot record 24hr 7days, it will only record events.
It's very slow to activate and detect something,for example if something or somebody approach quick ( i din t' say running ) and open the gate to access the property, the camera wil only record the gate now open. As soon as it start record, it start by recording a bright white flash and slowly focus the image. (see picture attached)
It does not record prior to the event so once again, it wake up and start recording only after it detect something, so for example, a car show up from behind the camera ...view more Here my experience with it.

IMHO it's useless, i may understand the fact that the producer do not allow record 24hr 7days to save the battery from running low too quickly but at the end of the day i have buyed the camera, it's my decision if i wanted to keep le power cord connected all the time or a solar panel or a power bank connected to it. They should put a warning that says... "if you turn on the camera for continuous recording the battery will run low very quickly" but not completly remove the possibility. That's simply not good enought
They said the video quality is 3k , yes in your dreams, the reality is very different, you will struggle to identify a logo from a meter away.
Alarm siren it's very quiet, my ringtone of my phone is louder than that.

The good things:
The pir sensor have a good detection range and the smart detect work well and identify person and vehicle.
The antenna also is good and work well.
The pin in the time bar is precise and easy to pinpoint the event.

I reccomend to fit the camera in an area where usually people don't have access or where the camera can see you from far away and have the time to load up and start recording.
I personally had to disable the smart detection and leave only the pir sensor to detect people and vehicle otherwise my telephone will ring no stop with a milion notification from cars passing by and people walking on the footstep.

I purchased the Reolink Argus Echo specifically for its compatibility with low-speed Wi-Fi connections, as I needed to install it at the edge of our network's coverage area. The camera performs reliably in this setup, though I would appreciate slightly improved range on the motion detection feature. Continuous Recording not supported. Nowhere in the spec is it clear. 3 of the 5 I have bought need continuous recording.
Like the other review mentions Im happy to take a warning about battery usage on continuous record.
It will not charge off a PD charger. The charger must 5V only without any auto-voltage sensing.
Minor thing - If your going to power it permanently where mounted you will need a USB-C cable with snug end to fit. We had to shave the end down on the able.

The camera is a solid deal for the price, i have yet to test life of battery as it varies depending on the use. Solar panel is recommended. i'm looking for a solid power option for constant use.

Update- Charger port became “damaged” although you can’t put any other charger in due to the port hole. Apparently I’d damaged it and they needed to send it away. I didn’t accept that. After 14months it all of a sudden didn’t charge. They ended up refunding me. As always great service by the staff, just not a great experience with the charge. Otherwise a great camera.

Mount is sturdy, live high wind area and is super weather proof, picture quality is high, awesome features with recording options and settings, no cost for storage or app, highly recommend. Unfortunately the charging port on the camera degraded over time (12 months exactly) and refused to charge - not covered under warranty. I hear it is a problem with Reolink cameras. I would avoid. Unfortunately I was under the impression that an ongoing cost wouldn't be required but it turns out, it's only a free trial to upload to the cloud. I'll by a different camera next, one that doesn't cost each month to get video footage to the phone/computer. I'll buy the Eufy camera next and sell these off second hand. They're the same price, just no ongoing costs.

Over three years or so this camera and solar panel have worked trouble free with absolutely no maintenance despite living close to the sea and salt laden winds (a clean of camera and solar panel are on my list!).
The solar panel works so well the battery has never needed recharging. I've got to say I am amazed such a low cost product works so well.
I only use the free subscription and so far that's been enough. Over three years or so this camera and solar panel have worked trouble free with absolutely no maintenance despite living close to the sea and salt laden winds (a clean of camera and solar panel are on my list!).
