Simple to setup and configure via the Tapo app (App/Play Store). Motion/Person tracking super quick and accurate.
I like how I can select certain Activity Zones to monitor within a scene, rather than having it pick up everything that moves (plants & curtains being blown by Air Con etc).
Comes with 30-day free trial for 1x cam (unlocks Motion tracking, Baby Crying, Privacy Zones & rich notifications w/snapshots, as well as cloud storage) Don't think I'll need these so I won't be subscribing. Bought this little unit in a hurry, surprising easy to set up thru the APP, good quality image and function.
Only downside is the night mode doesn't work well next to a window as the infrared LED reflection overfilled the image. More software features are available when upgrading to the premium version (Cloud storage, Rich notifications, Baby crying detection, etc.). The standard available features are satisfactional. I purchased two of these with the aim of web monitoring. Very clear image night and day. The only drawback is to share the camera image, other users need to register for the app. I guess security must be the reason but sharing via a QR code would have been good.
