This is a nice compact smartplug, and I found it easy to connect to the wifi. It records hourly and 5min data. The only thing that could be better is if it would save more data - a week or hourly and a day of 5min is a bit limited for my purpose. It also records whether the socket that it's connected to has power, which I have found useful for testing ripple control. Combined with Tapo Hub and the Tapo app, these are great devices. So far I've used them to plug in a heater and a television and use them for monitoring energy consumption. Planning to purchase more to monitor other appliances. Had hoped to control heaters over wifi in combination with Tapo temperature sensors however found the manufacturer of the heater I have states in its manual that the heater should not be plugged into timer/switching devices. Will look into this further. For now I am super pleased with the energy monitoring capabilities. Combined with Tapo Hub and the Tapo app, these are great devices.
