Excellent CPU with more than enough processing power for gaming. Depending on price I recommend getting the regular 3600 as you are not going to see much if any performance difference. This CPU is basically a 3600 with a bigger cooler. Also do some research on your motherboards before purchasing as some of the older motherboards will not support 3rd Gen Ryzen at all or without a BIOS update because I purchased a new Aorus B450 with this CPU and even saying on the box it supports 3rd Gen still needed a BIOS update to get it working properly Excellent CPU with more than enough processing power for gaming. Good processor, I upgraded from a Ryzen 5 1400 and I have it paired with a RX 5700XT and im running games at 1080p ultra, generally above 100fps, depending on the game. Really good if your looking for a mid - high end pc thats not overly expensive. When comparing the 3600X to the 3700X and the previous generation of CPU's, this one is the best bang for you buck. In terms of gaming performance it beats both the older 2600X and 2700X, even though the 2700X has 2 more cores. When comparing the 3600X to the 3700X, the 3700X is certainly better, but not quite better enough to spend a significant amount more.
