Great for Cloning a perfect copy of windows from an HHD to an SSD. Would definitely get it if you do a lot of computers repair. Cloning drives with this docking station is excellent. The fastest I have experienced and you will save lots of times compared to using other solutions over the USB connection. This product has a known firmware issue that means it will NOT work out of the box as a hard drive docking station. It requires a firmware update to function and performing that is both technical and difficult. This is a known issue with ORICO HD docking stations that is well publicized. I had high hopes, but really had to sit down when it arrived. The power lead was not as advertised in the pictures, not an all in one solution (Power brick being built into the plug head) it was more reminiscent of a mini laptop power brick, not a big deal, but not that A E S T H E T I C either. You also need to hit the power switch every time you insert a new drive, or it wont get going, and on top of that you can eject drives individually, only the entire device itself. Plus having no alternative connections besides USB 3 means the speeds are somewhat limited, personally found on my machine that it wouldn't reach transfer speeds over 30mbps...view more I had high hopes, but really had to sit down when it arrived. In conclusion, it works. There are possibly better options out there, but this is super handy when you've got a stack of 10 plus drives to go through.
