Crucial BX500 480GB 2.5" Internal SSD

I purchased this drive to replace my old HDD in my pc. I went online to PB Tech and completed the order online It arrived 2 days later and after I cloned my HDD to the SSD it only took a couple of minutes to change the drives over and boot up.

I found the drive is quiet to run and boots up quite fast . Everyday operation is faster than what I had on my HDD I wish I had changed over sooner. I would recommend anyone still using the conventional HDD to change to an SSD now that they are a lot cheaper than what they were. I would recommend getting your related computer bits and pieces from PB Tech as they are quick to deliver and the range of products and prices are very competitive. A+++ for service and product selection.

This is easily the best value SSD out there. Performance is within a few % of much more expensive solutions, and the capacity was sufficient to be able to replace my primary Windows partition for a significant overall speed boost. A great way to get into SSD performance for a low price. 120Gb is "enough" for most basic needs and for $50 or so it's a hard upgrade to turn down. I've bought at least 3-4 of these as replacement drives for laptops and have no regrets so far.
