Going from SATA SSD to PCIe NVMe performance is amazing. You just dont know how fast it is until you try it for yourself. Installed Windows 10 from USB3 in less than 10 minutes. Took off over 5 minutes from SATA SSD. Just amazing performance. Cant put a price on the time saving. It just slices through Adobe Lightroom and PhotoShop work loads, video editing on it is just takes it to another level. Thank you samsung for bringing this product to market. This one has awesome transfer rates, especially for running I/O bound processes where you want the very best transfer rates. I'm using this for animating satellite images and I love it. Samsung 980 Pr0 1TB NVME: I decided to get rid of RAID 0 on my msi Titan GT75 8RG replacing it with the Samsung 980 Pro. I was hugely surprised to find that the Benchmark Performance had markedly improved along with the added advantage of a more reliable system with greater storage space over the RAID's 500GB. I paired it with the latest Ryzen CPU and motherboards, and so far it has exceeded expectations, I deal with large media files and rendering with bootup speeds and access speeds that are pretty much instant, its very impressive!

After waiting for over two months, this disk is just amazing. almost 7GB/s, having two in RAID 0 did deliver close to 12GB/s, amazing speed, for database tests, having two DISKS with ASM will make my Oracle test environments just fly.

The best part, Samsung has software that copies all my data, no reinstallation is needed. This is a great addition to my PC, works well and was simple to install. Be aware though, that it doesnt come with a screw. You will need one that comes with your case. May God have mercy on your soul if you are like me and your case was a PBTech prebuild and the screw was missing. Mcguiver would be proud of my 'temporary' solution.
