Seagate lost my faith some years ago after a spat of drive failures, I move to WD and would have stayed until I started getting early failures on a 6TB WD Red NAS drive. So I decided to try Seagate again, it's too early to tell if these are going to give me grief but they perform pretty well! I've had IronWolf drives in my NAS for years and the Power on in days on the old ones were over 3,700 days.

Reliable, fast, and functional. I have 3 of these in my RaidZ1 array within my NAS. No faults on any of the disks as of 300~1500 hours of uptime. They're fairly quiet, I don't hear them over the phanteks fans in the case with them. Reliable, fast, and functional. I have 3 of these in my RaidZ1 array within my NAS. This replaced a 9yr old dead IronWolf 3Tb drive (ST3000VN000) in my QNAP NAS, really happy with the performance... Read is doubled and latency has improved exponentially (like 10/20 fold).
The no unexpected down side (as per other reviews) is that it is noisier. I run the NAS inside a cupboard but, particularly during RAID Scrubbing the drive sound is audible in the next room. Sound dampening enclosure now on the plan.
