Great Purchase, great price
I got this drive specifically for the anti-shock capabilities, this drive feels solid and so far has proven dependable. I've already managed to drop it from a small height and no issues. Of course, I don't recommend testing it like this, but it's nice to know my clumsiness won't kill this drive as quickly.
The size and the price was fantastic and I was able to save images from two other drives that had become troublesome

Works perfectly fine
as expected. Don't know about how effective the shock cushioning is but must be better than nothing, more insurance against drops getting this model.
First thing I do is reformat entire disk to clear away the included backup cruft so can't comment on whether that software is any good either.

Good value
Good value for money. Have been using it for over 2 weeks now I think and it's got shock protection so that's an added bonus. Only downside is it uses the old USB 3.1 connector and those cables are becoming obsolete so hopefully the cable doesn't go bad
