This drive works great. Great amount of storage size for the price. Good transfer rates. I needed to move many large files to clear space on my main drives and this did the trick. Handy to have, I have purchased two at a good price, one for back up. Small and compact doesn't take up much space which is good when traveling. Have not had any issues so far. I would recommend for general storage and backing up files. Also doubles as an external HD for gaming. Anything tech related is expensive. Whether for business or personal use, I always shop around and compare PBT to more traditional retailers. Their in store experts can not be matched by other retailers. I purchased two of these 4TB external hard drives for my home business Wifi server. Solid piece of kit. I backed up 2 desk top PCs & a laptop and still have room left. Downloading was fairly quick for the amount of data. Have yet to upload from the device but, only using it as mass storage. This hard drive was specified as plug and go. It needed formating and resetting before we could save anything to the hard drive. Bit difficult for the someone who may not be tech savvy. Good little disk so far. Easy to use for an off site backup or to take your files with you and share between devices.
