Olimpia Splendid Aquaria16 16L Dehumidifier & Purifier

Brought this dehumidifier due to the awesome reviews online. Not sure if I got a faulty one but the sensor for picking up the fullness of the tank plays up intermittently. It will say it’s full when it’s 1/4 full or barely full. if the humidity reader is detected over 70 it stops working. Then I can’t turn the Machine off when it says it’s full. It just stays on with the full light on and the control panel doesn’t respond AT ALL. There was one day where I cannot turn it off even when following the trouble shooting Instructions. In the end I had to quickly power up the machine to catch the machine running and then press the on and off button to reset the machine to work again. When the machine is full it takes me at least 3 times to reinstall the tank in to get the sensor to register the tank is empty before the machine will restart. However, When this machine is working it is quiet, slender and compact.
I’m not sure who to consult about the issues. So far there are more cons than pros. it has been the most unenjoyable money spent.

Really pleased, works better than the relatively small size would indicate. Dries washing quickly, pulls out 2L of water overnight. We had a water leak and was awesome to dry out the carpet also. Power cord is in an annoying place as gets in the way of emptying, but minor thing only tiny negative. Option to connect a hose to save emptying is also nice, haven't used yet. Works a lot better than our old Dimplex that was double the size! Also quieter :) Really pleased, works better than the relatively small size would indicate. I am very impressed with this dehumidifier, despite it's small size it is quiet and sucks as much water as our much larger and noisier other Delongi unit.

Gets all the condensation off the windows and dries our laundry on the clothes airer overnight (this is in winter too).

We don't really notice any noise, especially none over the sound of the tv.

I wasn't sure how good this product would be as I've never heard of Olimpia. but it works well draws plenty of moisture out of the air. For the price a great product.
