I bought these initially as they were a trusted brand, but it was supposed to come with a Mini Jack to 1/4" jack converted. PB Tech eventually came to the party and delivered the jack converter. Got these recently to monitor some music production and I have to say, I am very impressed with their quality.

Pros: Decent sound reproduction - clarity, punch, volume, okay bass for this price point.
Good physical build quality, look good.

Cons: Being entry level, the volume and bass can always be better, but for this price, I was still impressed. Could always be better materials, fair build at this budget point.

Conclusion: Would 100% recommend as an entry level monitoring headphone or as a cheaper everyday, over-ear headphone. Five Stars Got these recently to monitor some music production and I have to say, I am very impressed with their quality.

I originally bought these as a temporary replacement for my regular pair of audio-technica headphones that I sent away to be repaired, intending to use the damaged ones once they were fixed. The old ones are broken beyond repair, so the ATH-M20X have stayed in as my normal usage and I don't regret the buy! They're on the cheaper side of audio-technica headphones but they're just as good as any of the others!
