The phones have good bass as well as treble. Due to the "over the ear" earpiece, they stay in place. Family member suggested I try bone conduction headphones when I was in Australia recently. I had intended to get another set of noise reducing headphones but found I prefer this type instead. The big plus is that they are about half the price of Shokz and for me work as well. They are great when cycling as I can still hear other noise, a safety feature.
