It sits there. It holds my headphones. They hardly ever fall off. Importantly, it doesn't suddenly move them to (say) under the sink in the kitchen, or (say) the bottom of my garden beside the compost. It works. I got this headphone stand for free as it was in a bundle with the Sony WH1000xm4 headphones. The build quality is great and it is generally sturdy. Would I pay nearly $70 dollars for it? Probably not. But if it was cheaper or free with a bundle I would recommend it. The only thing I would change about this product personally is the brand name at the base of it. I would prefer this to be at the bottom where it is out of sight giving a cleaner look. But again I can't really complain as I got it in a bundle. For the price you might expect them to be more than just a stand but I can't complain as they were free. Nice aluminum finish and has a good heft to it so it won't topple over with heavier headsets. But I probably wouldn't buy them full price, wait for a deal or something. There's cheaper alternatives out there. This came free with my headphones so I don't have much to say. I was a bit eye-rolly about this when it arrived but it's actually really great having them hanging where I can see them, and keeping them out of harms way.
