Who'd have thought a $45 earphone could sound that good across all frequencies. The 24bit/96hz built-in dac via usb-c certainly made a difference. I wrapped part of the cable around my ears to keeps the earphones in place, being AKG tuned made everything that much better.

I lost my set that came with the phone and although I have a wireless pair as well, I need the set that connects physically to my phone for use at work. Dropping a Bluetooth earbid at work would mean losing it completely, whereas the cord only allows it to drop so far.

I have some Sony wireless headphones but I needed a cheap backup pair incase my heaphones died that also sounded pretty decent. I bought these and they have been working great. Great sound and they fit really well in my ear if Im jogging somewhere which is something I find rare for most heaphones I wear. Overall they are great and I definitely recommend them. While I find it super frustrating that Samsung have removed the AUX plug, thankfully I can still have earbuds. I got the samsung bluetooth buds but the bass is non-existent. Luckily I can still use these as they have been my favourite for listening to beats without having to use huge headphones! I bought these after my last in ears (different brand) died. These are cheaper, fit better, and the audio quality is not bad for the price. Will buy a few more as spares for the future. I thought this will be a really good bass but I was wrong.

I'm writing this review after using the headphones for several months. They have very good sound quality with my Samsung phone—no issues at all. However, I am giving them a 4 star rating because I discovered that they won't work with my work Surface Pro device (the microphone wasn't recognised as such). It turns out that this is a known issue for AKG headphones. I'm writing this review after using the headphones for several months.
