I got this to reduce my cable mess on my desk, between my pc and laptop. As it's powered, I can charge devices like phones and VR controllers, and the cable is long enough that I can mount it under the desk using 3M stickers. I have all my peripherals going into it, so now I have just a single USB 3 cable I can switch between my laptop and pc.

A plain 7-port hub that does exactly what it says it should. It also works fine for smaller USB devices without the (supplied) power brick plugged in.
