Recently brought this cable for working from home. Not all VGA cables are the same. Brought a more expensive cable from a competitor and only gave me 800x600 resolution. Extremely happy that when I hooked this is gave me 1920x1080 resolution. So definitely can recommend this cable for anyone trying to complete a home set up that requires VGA connection's. I use this in my server cabinet. Because I pull this cord in and out very frequently the pins have worn quite quickly. As this cable was not designed for that - and I shouldn't be using the cable this way anyway, I don't hold it against it.
