It does what it says and has a retractable locking guide to help protect the plug. Performance is good. One thing that doesn't work is what I bought it for. Fiery print controllers have a clone tool to back them up (FTC) and I was unable to use this stick to do so. I have asked Fiery for an approved vendor list of known good USB sticks but they have not responded. None of that is the fault of this stick and I used it today to copy movie files off a client's computer that they had taken with their phone of another fault that I need to escalate to Fiery as part of my job. Trying to transfer photos. 5GB takes over 7 hours. 2 GB takes over 2 hours. Brought 30 of them for a project. Unfortunately I opened them all and so can't return. Regret buying! I bought 10 of these, and 5 of them loaded about 20% of what I tried to load on them and just STOPPED!! They wouldn't load, they couldn't be restarted, files that had been loaded couldn't be deleted, they wouldn't safely eject, nothing! Took the 5 into PB Tech, and THEY couldn't load anything on them either! Gave me 5 replacements - and 3 of those bastards didn't work!! ADATA must have got a bad batch of flash chips!! I brought 4 of these as cheapo drives to put movies on for mates knowing i would never get them back. 2 of them immediately had problems and would just freeze up my computer. definitely wouldn't recommend.
