I bought this along with a 500GB Samsung EVO SSD for my HP laptop that I bought in 2016. The computer already had 8GB RAM so this was a pretty significant upgrade, and once the SSD was in there as well it felt like a brand new computer. The only bottleneck now is the ageing AMD CPU, but these two additions significantly improved its overall performance. I was thinking it was time to replace this machine, but with these upgrades I think I'll get at LEAST another couple of years out of it. Very reliable, and a great price too! RAM worked perfectly. Easy to install. Acer Aspire E 14 laptop with 4GB RAM now "snappy" with 8GB RAM. Menus, etc. open quickly. The old laptop is now quite usable. RAM worked perfectly. I bought two of these with the intention of upgrading from 8GB to 16GB. Laptop would not boot. The power light flashed 2 orange and 4 clear which indicates bad memory. I updated the laptop bios and drivers, but still failed on start-up. Tried one stick at a time, but still no go. Specs and type of memory match those specified by Dell, but doesn't work.
