A few years ago, I purchased a Dell Optiplex 9020 SFF PC from PB Tech for $400. Its been a great PC and fitted my budget at the time, but only came with 8 GB RAM (2x 4 GB modules).
Today I purchased 2 of these G.Skill 8 GB RAM modules. Well, they fit the slots, so now I have 24 GB RAM: theses new 2x 8 GB, and the original 2x 4 GB. The Optiplex 9020 SFF has 4 mem slots and support pairs of 2, 4 or 8 GB modules, for a max of 32 GB.
So, while the PC boots OK and seems to be working: I'm using it right now. So, while the PC boots OK and seems to be working: I'm using it right now. PLEASE NOTE that these RAM modules have a large RED metal heat sink (which looks nice), but its impossible to put the drive bay back into the PC. The bottom of the drive tray hits the top of the RAM heatsinks.
So right now, the drive is sitting on a piece of cardboard cut from a random box in my room. So 100% not recommended of course.
Not sure what I'll do yet: Maybe source a different memory module, or maybe hack a better disk mounting method. I also can't put the lid back on now, or refit the DVD drive (not that it was working anyway).
So: the memory appears to boot and work, but you can't reassemble your Dell Optiplex 9020 Small-Form-Factor (SFF) PC.

Great for pre-DDR4 machines, I had a one in my PC since 2014 but didn't know it was 1866MHZ as BIOS showed 1333MHz.

Bought two of these RAM's for my games computer three weeks ago. Now with16GB fitted the games are much more fluid and don't have processing memory problems anymore.
Easy to fit into the mother board. Purchased at a good price online and delivery promptly. Needed to add a bit extra memory to my old ITX build.

Ordered one day and arrived the next.

Probably should have got 2 sticks and gone up to 16gb rather than 12gb but it still did the trick.
