This is one of those products where you don't hear the difference, but others definitely do! As a former studio engineer for a radio station, a good mic is worth its weight in gold. But it is hard for the speaker to know whether they have a good mic or are just used to bad mic sounds.

A great microphone, while not getting lots of comments, will make it easier for the listener. For the price (and compact size), the sound quality (according to the listeners) makes the listener feel like I am in the same room as them, sitting right next to them have an in person conversation. That is what you want a microphone to achieve, that natural environment sound and the Razer Seiren achieves that perfectly. Those spending more on noise cancellation quickly turn what is a natural environment into a recording sound booth. Great if you are recording an album, not ideal if you want a natural sounding casual conversation. I feel Razer, who knows their audience has hit it out of the park with this mic which doesn't cancel background noise, but rather reduces it enough to become background noise with a focus on the voice of the person talking.

I bought this mic about a month ago for my YouTube channel voiceovers, and let me tell you, my views have doubled and I get comments complimenting the audio quality. Mic works exactly as advertised. It has a capacitive touch "button" on the top so you can instantly mute and alight on the front to tell you if you are live or not. Other than that this is a barebones mic that is lifted by Razer's imo excellent software, including being able to mix various audio sources (e.g. game, music, browser) directly into the mic feed. If you are an up and coming streamer that sort of thing is probably very useful. Sensitivity and sound quality is very good. Mic works exactly as advertised.
