Loctek Pro Mount, 17"-30" Dual Gas Spring Monitor Stand - VESA 75 & 100mm - Max Load 5KG Per Arm - 5 Years Warranty

I have mounted two 27" monitors on these arms and they are pretty much at max extension. Therefore I cannot make any adjustments to the screens positions on the mounts. If you check the 2nd to last picture it even says 27" is the maximum supported screen, not 30. The product title is misleading. If you are using 27" screens and want to be able to move them around a lot in order alter the angle for different sitting positions, these arms cannot do that.

The pros: The arms are very adjustable (assuming you have smaller screens), have excellent cable management options, and support the advertised weight. Very effective at getting the screens aligned and adjusted to comfortable placement. Stiff, they stay where you leave them, but are not too hard if you need to move them. Good cable management. Not super cheap, but they seem very robust and well made. I almost wish I'd bought the ones that are the same except with a usb hub in the base (for even more cable management). The stands are solid, and once you've figured out the various screws and adjustments, adjusting the monitors is a breeze. Unfortunately the regular "screw" fitting was too large for my desk, so had to go with the version where you have to run a bolt *through* the desk. This requires drilling a hole in the desk. I am happy they do provide 2 options for attaching to the desk, as I hadn't considered the back of my desk might be too shallow for the regular screw fixture (where drilling isn't required).

However, the major problem with these mounts is that the base arms don't rotate all the way in the back.

While this makes sense if your desk is up against a wall (the arms would go into the wall if they were rotated all the way back), it means in order for both monitors to be next to each other, the monitors have to jut quite far forward (which you can see in the example photos). I have a pair of 24 inch monitors, and when they are placed next to each other (so they are basically touching), they jut forward about 20-30cm from the stand. This likely won't be a problem if you have a deep desk, but mine is only 60cm deep, so the monitors effectively hang over the middle of the desk, meaning I don't have much distance between myself and the screens.

To solve this, I have to push the screens back, which means a large gap between both monitors, which isn't ideal. The other issue with this solution is that it means the monitors are further to the left and right, so I have to turn my head in both directions to look at each screen. Not great from an RSI point of view, but better than damaging eyesight from having screens too close! The other possible solution (which I haven't tried yet) might be to install the mount back-to-front, as the base arms CAN go all the way forward.

All in all, well made/strong stands, but the lack of flexibility means they are more suited for deeper desks.

previously had a Loctek DLB502 single arm to hold my 4K 28" screen. while it is just over 5kg, the single arm held perfectly strong.
upon getting the double arm for dual monitors at just over 5kg each, supports both 28" screens without any problems.
Loctek have proven themselves time and time again, I have outfitted entire offices with their product and never had any problems. literally 10 mins from box to mounting the screens and tidying the cables. highly recommended.

They can't rise very high, nor can the peel more than an inch apart, which is worrying for something that is labelled to have 30" clearence, which there would be very little.

Used it for over a year and love it. Make sure your monitor has the same size VESA mount. Most ones do, otherwise you'll have to find expansion plates which won't be easy. Also the vertical movement is locked after you set it so you can't really move it up and down without using the little wrench that comes with it. Other movements are not locked. Cons: For a simple installation, the provided instructions are a bit vague. Attaching the arm to a 27" screen needs at least three hands, four was better.

I brought one of these to put my monitors on to, I have two almost identical systems barring CPU, on is AMD and the other Intel, both systems have Viewsonic XG-2703-GS monitors on the inner arm and 24 inch Acer monitors on the outer arm, I didn't buy them just for gaming, I design stuff and edit video too.
I was worried that they might not be strong enough - I need not have been they are BUILT SOLID, i was so impressed I brought a 2nd one.

Their really great, strong, durable feel and well finished. Maybe only con I found was hard to get the arm to go low enough to allow screen to be at proper ergo height, but not a major either. Awesome desk mount. Worth spending the extra money to get this attractive model, which looks way better than the base dual screen models. Easy to install. Screens can be moved independently. Awesome! Looked complicated out of the box, but really easy to put together- great instructions and all the parts clearly labelled (including all the screws and bolts).

Had it all set up in less that 15 minutes - very solid, my 27" are very secure and look fantastic. Have gained a huge amount of my desk space back. Moving them around is easy and they stay in place once moved to their new position.
