Used it for over a year and love it. Make sure your monitor has the same size VESA mount. Most ones do, otherwise you'll have to find expansion plates which won't be easy. Also the vertical movement is locked after you set it so you can't really move it up and down without using the little wrench that comes with it. Other movements are not locked. Cons: For a simple installation, the provided instructions are a bit vague. Attaching the arm to a 27" screen needs at least three hands, four was better.

I needed much better control of LCD monitor position at my desk than I could get with the supplied stand. The support arm did the job as supplied, without needing modification. I drilled one hole through a wooden table surface to mount the base of the support arm. Getting the right pressure in the gas piston (by turning a nut) was the biggest challenge. All parts were supplied in clearly labelled packaging. The support arm has been in constant use since installation. Bought this bracket for an office environment, install was very easy and the operation very simple. I found it need a few adjustments for the weight of the monitor to get it right but this was easily done with the adjusters on the bracket. Bought this for my partners second screen. Hold her 27inch screen no problem. Needs a little fine tuning, but thats super simple, and only needs doing once. The monitor arm is pretty durable and supported my 27’ monitor. However, you need to manually address the rotation bolts to ensure it isn’t too loose or too tight.
