The VRR flicker is abysmal, very disappointing, had to turn it off.
It's sucks because it was the whole reason I bought the monitor.
Asus should be ashamed of themselves.
With all the reviews I researched, this issue was never mentioned.

Since there were barely any reviews available, I took a bit of a gamble with picking this monitor, but Im pretty happy with it. I wanted the refresh rate of a gaming monitor, without it screaming "GAMER", and it did a good job there. It's a nice design from the front or behind, also with a very solid looking stand. It was almost a shame to replace it with a mounting arm.

Colours seem good, and in games there is no ghosting or blurring at all to my eyes. Only bad thing I've noticed is scrolling through grey text on a black background will look blurry.

Another customer mentioned having a problem with the screen going dark. If this is the same thing I saw, it seems to be caused by having certain websites visible, and will cause the screen to dim and brighten constantly, and was driving me mad. I found that turning off Variable Refresh Rate fixed this problem. I'm now running with overclocking on, VRR off, and ELMB on (you can only run one or the other). I do not see a difference between the two in game, but I'm not playing fast paced FPS games.

The on-screen display is very easy to use with a single 4-way button working like a cusror and enter button.

Overall a decent upgrade over my last monitor and a nice introduction to ultra wides

After hours of research looking into if this would be G-Sync compatible, and getting mixed answers I took a chance. I happy to confirm that it IS!. Which makes this monitor amazing value for money.. so crisp, smooth and colorful. We'll packaged and protected and simple to assemble the stand. Couldn't be more satisfied with the product. Only down side is a very annoying habit of "blacking out" the screen as you're typing! Need to move mouse around until it "wakes up" again. Great monitor, been enjoying gaming. I'm not obsessed with features, so it just sorted itself out with no dramas. Great for guitar TAB and DAW. Games have been looking great too. For the price it’s a really good monitor. I don’t think I could go back to a normal 16:9 widescreen monitor after using this ultra wide monitor. Some sort of G-Sync compatible support would have been a nice to have but that’s just a small issue. For the price it’s a really good monitor.
