While it is solid and can protect the Chromebook, it does not have any space to put in the power adaptor. so, we are no looking for another carry case where our son can keep the Chromebook and power adaptor together. The hard shell offers quite a bit of protection from accidental bumps. The quality is great as well. This is perfect for someone that goes to school, university or work (basically if you want your laptop to be protected while you are out and about).
